Life, in 1 Corinthians 13

I have decided to try an experiment. For the next week, I want to be extra vigilant in living a "1 Corinthians 13" life. Especially verses 4-7:

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Just think how much better our relationships, whether it be with your husband or wife, or just those you encounter day to day, could be if we thought about and followed through with these verses.

I found a new blog today: www.marriagehacks.com and I am really looking forward to the lessons that the author is teaching. Mrs. Fussypants, if you read this, thank you!

I have always loved this verse. It is on one of my shirts and I always read it when I where it- just to remind me. One particular day, I was mad at my hubs and- well- I just didn't want to read it. We went to church and guess what passage our sermon at church was based on? Yep. Gets me every time.

I have this one hanging on the wall in my bedroom. Whenever I read it over, I remember that "God is Love," that He is all those things, without even trying.
